I finally started doing something with all the Nightcrawler art I've collected over the years...
http://members.aol.com/NightcrawlerArt
So far only three commissions/con sketches, but it has a link to another gallery of mine, plus I'll be expanding it with more sketches, artist bios, some published comic pages, and some of the trading card artwork featuring Kurt. Go have a looksee!

VERY nice DAKHOLME! That JR JR pic from Uncanny #300 is one of my favorites! EL Darrick Robertson is the former Artist of The New Warriors and current artist of Warren Ellis' Transmetropolitan!

Thanks for the kind words, guys! I figured if anyone would appreciate this stuff, it would be the board!
I added a few more pages this afternoon...this time some of the published stuff. I'm trying really hard not to join the AOL Hometown for more webspace...but my collection might demand it! I haven't even gotten to the trading card art yet! I think I might have a small exclamation point problem!
Anyway, for the origins on the sketches:
* John Cassaday - current artist of Planetary, prior work: Desperadoes, X-Men/Alpha Flight (1997), Union Jack, Excalibur 116, 117 covers. Organized through his art representative...supposedly only commission he did last year. Met him once at a con...really cool guy.
* Mike S. Miller - fill-in artist-at-large. Most recent work: JLA #51. Prior work: Adventures of Superman, X-Men, Mutant X, Savage Dragon, 80% of the Image OverPower card art. Arranged commission through artist online. Haven't met him face to face, but very pleasant to talk too. Fast too...he had this done the day after I requested it!
* Darick Robertson - Current artist on Transmetropolitan (as BAMF! pointed out). Prior work: Malibu's The Solution, the first New Warriors run, about 1/3rd of Excalibur #71. Met him at the San Diego Comic Con in 1999. He was doing sketches for other people and agreed to do a Nightcrawler one, mainly because it's his favorite X-Man. He did a bang up job on this one!
The three pages I added today:
Excalibur #57 pg 2 by Joe Madureira - team splash page, sans captions, indicia, etc (came that way). Some of you might have seen this on eBay a few months back...odds are if stupid money is being spent on a Nightcrawler page, it's me. Except for the Wolverine #140 cover...that was too rich even for my blood. And I already had a decent Ken Lashley AoA Nightcrawler 2/3 splash, so that's why I didn't bid on the Bennett one last week. Well, that, and I'm saving money for Cancun (5 more days...). But I digress...
Excalibur #103 pg 7 by Carlos Pacheco - I don't think I have to explain this one...
X-Men #107 pg 4 by Leinil Francis Yu - The page AFTER the "big kiss" page. Page 3 has apparently disappeared. Neither Yu nor Morales (the inker) sent it to their art rep, so either one of them kept it for their personal collection or someone at Marvel held on to it. Still a good page though.
More stuff as I figure out a way to stretch my FTP space...

Still more additions...
* Excalibur promotional piece by Alan Davis...I'm pretty sure this was used on the inside back cover of "The Possession" to announce Alan Davis' return in Exc #42. Cropped it to focus on the team...Rachel's Phoenix aura extends for another page.
* Uncanny X-Men #300 pg 1 by John Romita Jr. Some of you that went to my other gallery might have already seen it, but I wanted to go ahead and include it on this one.
And two trading card pieces...
* OverPower: Nightcrawler - Disappearing Act by Paul Young. Very textured pencil piece that didn't scan as well as it looks. Still pretty decent
* X-Men CCG: Nightcrawler/Juggernaut - Close Call by Ray Lago. If nothing else, pretty cool designs for what these two would like like in the X-Men Movie-verse. Full color too!
Probably will do two more updates before I leave for vacation...shooting to have 16 pieces. After vacation I'll start the Excalibur #98 section, which already has 16 pages by itself!

Jezie likes art. Jezie liked page except Jezie thinks there is not enough color. Black on black is not nice. Jezie doesn't know why she is talking in 3rd person.

OK...I tried out a different color scheme on the page...I think it really makes the art stand out now. I might add a very light watermark of one of the pieces as a background so it's not completely boring (either the Robertson or the Cassady). Is that better, Jezie?

Jezie is still confused. It is black, but then when Jezie hits reload, it is white. Jezie wants to know, what is the true color?
Also Jezie is confused on why she talks in third person? And where is Jezie's monkey, Bob? So many issues! So little time to play dance and sing!
